Acacia Honey vs Sidr Honey: Which One Is Right for You?
Light and floral or dark and bold? A side-by-side look at two of our most loved honeys to help you choose.
Both are raw, both are pure — but Acacia and Sidr honey could hardly be more different. Here's a simple side-by-side to help you choose.
Acacia honey: light & versatile
Pale gold and delicately floral, Acacia honey has a clean, mild sweetness and stays liquid far longer than most honeys because it crystallizes very slowly. It's the everyday all-rounder — perfect for tea, coffee, yogurt, dressings and baking, where you want sweetness without a strong honey flavour taking over.
- Colour: very light / pale gold
- Flavour: mild, clean, floral
- Texture: stays runny for months
- Best for: daily use, drinks, cooking
Shop Acacia honey 300g or 500g.
Sidr honey: dark, bold & rare
Sidr (Beri) honey is dark amber, thick and intensely aromatic, with a rich, malty depth. Harvested from Sidr-tree blossoms during a short flowering window, it's rarer and more treasured — a honey to savour slowly by the spoonful rather than stir into everything.
- Colour: dark amber
- Flavour: rich, malty, complex
- Texture: thick
- Best for: eating on its own, special occasions, gifting
Shop Sidr honey 300g or 500g.
