Moringa & Ashwagandha Powder Price in Pakistan

Nectar Energy's herbal powders are two kitchen staples, moringa leaf and ashwagandha root. Both are sourced in Pakistan, dried, finely ground and packed in 100 g and 250 g jars.

Moringa (sohanjna) leaf powder. Moringa grows widely across Punjab and Sindh, where it is known as sohanjna or suhanjna, and its leaves, pods and flowers have long been part of home cooking. The leaves are dried and milled into a bright green powder with a fresh, grassy, slightly peppery taste. Stir 1 teaspoon (about 3 to 5 g) into water, juice or a smoothie, or mix it into dough, daal and soups. Start with half a teaspoon. Moringa Leaf Powder is Rs 340 for 100 g and Rs 840 for 250 g.

Ashwagandha (asgandh) root powder. Ashwagandha, known in Urdu as asgandh, is a small shrub (Withania somnifera) whose root has been used for centuries in traditional South Asian herbal practice. The powder is light beige-brown, with a strong, earthy and slightly bitter taste. Most people mix half to 1 teaspoon (about 2 to 3 g) into warm milk with a little honey, which softens the bitterness. Ashwagandha Root Powder is Rs 980 for 100 g and Rs 2,440 for 250 g.

Storage. Keep each jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture. Use a dry spoon so the powder stays free-flowing and keeps its colour.

Both are food products, not medicines. Ashwagandha is not suitable during pregnancy or nursing. If you take medication or have a medical condition, ask your doctor before using either powder. Delivery is Rs 250 anywhere in Pakistan and free on orders of Rs 5,000 or more.
